Save on your shopping when you give back to the community by becoming a working-member!
Get involved, give back, and get a discount! Member-owners can save 10% or 15% every time you shop with us when you volunteer on community projects and with local nonprofit organizations. Some working-members provide yoga, massage, or other services; garden in the community; or serve on co-op committees or our Board of Directors.
Volunteer and Save!
- 10% discount: Working-members must complete two hours per month per adult in the household.
- 15% discount: Working-members must complete four hours per month per adult in the household.
Get Started!
- Sign up for a program orientation by emailing Caitlin at caitlin.vonschmidt@franklincommunity.coop.
- Contact an organization to get started as a volunteer.
- Log your hours on your working-member card, available in both stores.
- Discount is processed and applied automatically to your member number. Members must be in good standing to participate in the working-member program.
