We’re writing to share a status update about the Atlas Farm Store project. As we outlined in our initial proposal to you, a key commitment that we held going into this project was to ensure that it embodied a win-win outcome for both businesses. At this time, we have been unable to come to mutually agreeable terms that reflect that commitment, and the project is on hold as we re-evaluate terms.
We appreciate your support and patience throughout this process. While this is disappointing news, we are confident that both the Co-op and Atlas Farm remain committed to local food, farms and community. We will continue to seek a resolution and opportunities that support our cooperative values, our commitment to our community, and the long-term health of our co-op.
