Quilted Teapot Cozy with Thimbles on Pink fabric for a 5-8 cup teapot #261

A beautiful quilted teapot cozy made especially for a sewer of any kind. Thimbles and more thimbles of all shapes and sizes adorn this cozy on a base pink fabric. My quilted teapot cozy is made with 100% cotton fabric and cotton batting in the sides and bottom. The lining is made from the same fabric. Truly a gorgeous cozy to dress your teapot in for those wonderful times spent creating. Every sewing studio needs one and is the perfect gift for the tea drinking quilter and/or fiber artist. I have included double batting on both sides AND batting on the bottom to maintain heat while your tea steeps. The bottom on the inside is professionally finished with a serger. The top of the tea cozy closes with elastic around the front and sides which allows you to slide your pot into the cozy from the back. You close it above the handle with a elastic loop and coordinating button. This one has a thread on a spool button. The cozy is completely washable in cold water-no bleach. Line dry to maintain bright colors. This cozy is designed to fit an average teapot. Approximately 5-8 cups as noted by the pot in the picture.This pattern is designed by me, an avid tea drinker, especially for teapots everywhere as I believe that all teapots deserve to look beautiful while providing us with our tea.
