Organic level increase: my understanding last spring was that FCC would be increasing from about 50-55% organic products to between 60-75% in coming year year – by email I clarified this with the GM to be the current fiscal year, which ends now, in Oct. Has that increase been accomplished and what are the levels now? Will they continue to increase? How can owners in general know metrics of organic and other, such as local, etc at our co-op? How can owners collectively ask for shifts in metrics – like more organics – and less products containing the conventional corn, soy, sugar and canola which are not certified non-GMO? This is an environmental and health issue that many co-op owners are concerned about, as well as about protecting organic farmers and future viability of organic food.

    Thanks,
    Shauna
