Fair Trade

Fair Trade is a movement that encourages consumers to be more directly connected to the people and communities who produce the goods they buy. Many Fair Trade items have a third party certification ensuring that producer groups are paid minimum prices, have access to credit and are paid a social premium that gets reinvested in their communities. Vendors of fair trade goods that don’t have a certification process (crafts, for example) can be members of the Fair Trade Federation, a trade group for organizations dedicated to Fair Trade.

We partner with mission-based Fair Trade organizations such as Dean's Beans, Alter Eco, Equal Exchange, African Market Baskets and Divine Chocolate to offer you a variety of fairly traded items such as vanilla, baskets, rice, chocolate, tea, cocoa, soap, bananas, nuts and coffee.
