To serve more members from Franklin County regardless of economic situation. To increase access to the co-op by economically challenged households in the form of both healthy food purchases and member/ownership.
How can we bring more visibility to the programs we already offer and decrease barriers for those with limited means to purchase healthy foods?
This challenge is not new to New England food co-ops, and not new to co-operatives since the Rochdale Pioneers.
Food For All
The Food For All Program is a member-owner benefit that strives to make healthy food more available to members of our community who receive SNAP, WIC or SSI benefits. If you are a current participant in any of these programs, you can receive a 10% discount on your Co-op groceries!

The Food for All program is made possible with assistance from our Neighboring Food Co-op Association and the Cooperative Fund of New England.
We also have a Co-op Basics program!
Co-op Basics is our store program of essential items at everyday low prices. To get to these lower retail prices, we are both reducing our standard margins and making deals with suppliers. All of the items meet our high standards for quality natural food and supplies.
Items include but are not limited to cheese, pasta, store brand multi-vitamins, juice, cereal, beans and bananas. Look for the purple ‘Co-op Basics’ shelf tag indicating value products!
